Notary Public versus Loan Signing Agent
While Notaries encounter a wide variety of documents, Loan Signing Agents (a.k.a. Notary Signing Agents) specifically handle home loan documents. Mobile Notaries and Notary Signing Agents (NSA's) are both required to have a traditional Notary commission, but NSA's must also pass a background check and an exam every year.
Notary Public Fees
The State of Georgia Notarial Fee - $2.00 Per Notarial Act/Stamp plus Administrative and Travel Fees. Travel to surrounding areas not listed will require an additional fee. Flat rate travel fees are for travel time, fuel costs, and wear and tear.
- 0-25 miles - $35 Flat Fee
- 25-50 miles - $60 Flat Fee
- 50-100 miles - $125 Flat Fee
COPYING, FAXING, EMAILING & WITNESSING AVAILABLE– FOR ADDITIONAL FEES.
Loan Signing Agent Fees
Our Loan Signing Agent can handle real estate closing transactions to include:
- 1st and 2nd Mortgages
- Refinances
- Purchases
- Home Equity Lines of Credit
- FHA-VA and HELOC
- Home Improvement Loans
- Business Loans
